$1088 Pick it up — open the U&U listing

U&U sits on the bench here as solid cast metal with a hidden movement inside. Two U-shaped bolts and four nuts - this looks like a combination of spare parts but looks are deceiving. The halves part in one order only, and the order is the whole trick.

  • This puzzle comes with a deviously hidden trick.
  • The key to unlocking these parts is to look carefully at each part first.
  • U & U was puzzle of the year at IPP 2014 in London, U.K.
  • Rated level 4 on our six-step ladder, so you know the sit before you start.
  • Small enough for a coat pocket, heavy enough to feel solved.

This was challenging

I absolutely love this mind game puzzle! It’s both challenging and engaging, keeping me entertained for hours. The design is clever, with intricate pieces that fit together perfectly, and the quality is outstanding. Each level of the puzzle offers a unique challenge, making it fun to solve progressively. I’ve found it to be a great way to unwind and exercise my brain at the same time. It’s perfect for both solo play and group challenges. If you enjoy puzzles that make you think outside the box, I highly recommend this one! It’s a fantastic addition to my collection.

Interesting and challenging

Kids love a challenge and keeps them occupied. Not exceptionally hard puzzle but it's a real teaser.

Fun to Fidget With

Fun to fidget with but I was never able to solve it until I read another review suggesting to get out the lubricant and once I gave it a spritz with the WD-40, I was able to get it apart in about five minutes. It seems less of a solving puzzle with a logical solution than just a trial and error to puzzle that will eventually come apart from playing with enough times the right way and it comes apart. Still like fiddling with while watching TV or on the train etc but not sure there's much thought needed to solve it
