Where the name came from.
The spider on the BePuzzled box has been hanging from that single thread since the late eighties. We took the hint and named everything here after the web: a product page is a strand, a note is a length of silk, and the shelves are the frame that holds the rest together.
What we actually do.
We follow one brand and we follow it properly. Every puzzle on this site is a BePuzzled product, checked against the current range rather than copied from an old catalog page. When a mold is retired we take it down; when a new color of an existing design appears we give it its own strand rather than burying it in a dropdown.

Why we sort by line.
Theme sorting looks friendlier and helps nobody. A dragon exists as an Original build, a deluxe build and a licensed build, and those are three different evenings. Sorting by line means the page you land on tells you how hard the thing is before it tells you what it looks like.
What we will not do.
We do not invent reviews, we do not print the solution to a mystery jigsaw, and we do not describe a puzzle we have not had out of the box. If a specification is missing from a strand it is because we could not confirm it, not because it was boring.
Who writes this.
Four of us, all of whom build. Between us the shelf behind the desk holds about ninety finished crystal models and a cast metal level 6 that has been unsolved since March.
