We cut Chain into a handful of parts. From the Manufacturer Hanayama has done it again, with the cast metal Chain Puzzle designed by Oskar van Deventer. The halves part in one order only, and the order is the whole trick.

• These beautiful, angular chain links seem to be loosely connected.
